An experiment with Ink and crayons ...Old cars are again one of my favourite subject ..

Another old city of India..The temple town of Haridwar (Uttarkhand) ..Sitting by the Ganges and drawing the ever flowing crowd in the middle of the old City which still remains the same while every thing moved ahead was a very pleasant experience ...Done with Fine Carbure on midtone paper
The ancient temple atop Savana durga ...
From the City of God...Haridwar.My first sketch from the old Cities of India ..
Capturing the crowd... their believe..there hope  at the door step of God is something a challenge in itself ..The old building that might have witnessed the drama for so many years have indeed a story to tell ..Done with Fine Carbure

Again a tree study ...Done live near my house with the distant house added from imagination to create a composition
From my recent visit to Chikmangalur ..MullainGiri ...A stunning tree standing amidst the canopy covered by the mountain mist .Couldn't help myself from the temptation of taking a photograph and and doing a water colour version of it ...Still lot more tree and nature studies are on the their way to be drawn

Transformation
This a good restaurant at JP Nagar infront of rangashankara Threatre . The structure of this building is similar to the typical shelters found in the foothills of himalayas or any hilly region if you think with a little dose of imagination .It was done live sitting at the footpath and as usual welcoming all the commnets from the people passing by me and throwing their  glances .But at the end the work turned out to be exactly the way I wanted it to be .Done with Renyolds Fine carbure on hand made paper.
Machines again...what a way to start of the week with Sunday Pencil Jam ...It was early morning at turf club Race course road we wanted to draw the horses but were denied permission inside and do sketching there, we had to move to the other side of the road were this magnificient art installation was kept for me to draw . As usual I was flooded with comments from all the peoples passing by me ...some praises some discouragements ..but who pays any attention when you have some thing like an old machince lying just infront of you . And the result of 4 hour was really very satisfying..... There are still plenty of things still lying there which I hope I can draw someday ...

Kiran Fighter plane
Again a sunday Jam at HAL Museum . As it is again the machine so can't help myself to draw this majestic piece which roared the indian sky and protected her from any attach. So I had another point in my pocket to justify my love for machines .Done with Renyolds Fine Carbure  and India Ink.
Nature in Black and white
Pratt and Whitney Double Wasp engine ... Drawing machine has always been my favorite subject. The complicated shapes ,the twisted  wires , the power it creates the rhythmic sound ..Its truly the soul of the modern world .Done with renyold fine carbure during one of the jamming session at HAL museum .

Jamming at Nandi hills at an early morning sun rise on a cold winter morning...
"Lets try some watercolor ...." and this is it ...random colored thoughts put into paper with water doing the rest of the drama ....

Learning from the old masters ... sometimes I wonder each and every paintings
of theirs have so many things hidden in them jus waiting silently to be explored
and enlighten

In to the wilderness again !!! ...Done during a visit to Mekedatu with friends

The great India ride ...done during  Pencil Jam at Venkatapa Art Galley ...
Morning at cantonment railway station...with a cup of hot refreshing tea. As my pencil worked her way out on the paper and my thoughts went through time to the age of colonial rule .The beautiful structure which is still standing facing the onslaughts of time and make us think about the time left behind...

shelter within ...

A morning scene from a village near Kohua (Kaziranga) ..Its perhaps a small village tea stall the most happening and warm place in the village.

Horn OK Tata

Among the best shaped automobile perhaps he is the king. Nicknamed "Road King"  by some of his Riders am preety sure he puts the roads on blaze like "Jonny Blaze" does in "Ghost Riders". Well for me what better way way to start the morning ,with the sun showering all the morning bliss ,morning warm tea which is more pleasing than "somras" the vedic drink and Road King standing infront of me to sketch him ...

An Old Friend

"A friend in need is a friend indeed" ..here goes this old saying and this is so true.I still remember how I waited with all the courage I had left for my friend to light up and destroy the monsters lurking in the darkness. The situation though seems to be an output of my fantasy but this true ...this is nothing but the daily blackouts during my childhood .I can still feel the warmth of my lost friend which now has gone and left me alone when my fantasies are turning up real and life is slowly moving to darkness and monsters are showing up trying to take me to there grip .I jus pray if i can find my old friend and once again he lights up and fights away the darkness before I give up ...

Under the shade

Sunday Jam at our very own Lalbagh Botanical garden. The tree providing the cool shadow to every creature underneath makes me wonder how wise they are....
